Description "Rose Anglais" is a complete kit by SoCreaStitch to make a lovely door hanger.
It includes the counted cross-stitch design "Rose Anglais" by Zaza Picque. You can choose between 32 count linen and 16 count Aida in linen.

Design stitch count: 113 wide x 63 high, worked here on a 32 count off-white linen using two strands of cotton over two threads of fabric.

Dimensions of the finished work:
20 x 15 cm (8 x 6 ins) without the string

What we like about this project:
* the original mounting inspired by what Zaza Picque made with her own stitched work when she created it,
* the fresh and shading colours (the cross-stitch pattern is partly worked with the Gentle Art Samplers Threads even if you can replace them to stitch it totally with DMC numbers);
* the very pretty details: vintage lace, genuine mother-of-pearl buttons in a flower shape, pleated fringe in a gorgeous flowery fabric;
* the overall "shabby shic" look of it,
* the easy-to-make mounting thanks to the kit's elements already at the right dimensions.

This is a pure cross-stitch design with 3 (optional) French knots on the cupcakes.

This kit includes:

  • original counted cross-stitch chart "Rose Anglais" by Zaza Picque,
  • 32 count off-white linen or 16 count aida in linen,
  • pre-sorted Gentle Art threads (5 colours) and DMC threads (4 colours) with embroidery needle,
  • some flowery fabric (front and back of the project),
  • a piece of vintage lace,
  • 2 mother-of-pearl buttons,
  • pink rick-rack braid,
  • batting,
  • 2 cardboard pieces (high quality, used by framemakers),
  • detailed stitching and finishing instructions in English with pictures.
