Bord de Mer - Kit
Exists in 18 count Aida or 32 count Linen.
It includes the counted cross-stitch design "Bord de Mer" by Bois Joli and a lovely blue variegated thread. You can choose between 32 count linen and 18 count Aida in linen.
Design stitch count (main design): 59 wide x 135 high, worked here on a 32 count off-white linen using two strands of cotton over two threads of fabric.
Dimensions of the finished work:
10 x 33 cm (4 x 13 ins) without the string
What we like about this project:
* the simple patterns that remind holidays on the seaside, the sun and the children playing;
* the lovely blue shades of the variegated thread and of the fabric at the panel's back
* it is quickly worked for both the stitching (as you are using only one colour) and the mounting (thanks to the kit's elements already at the right dimensions);
the lovely details of the linen cord sown around the patterns with the blue thread to maintain both parts together and hang the finished panel;
* it is very decorative and of a quite small size so you can hang it in many places.
The design uses only cross-stitches.

- 1 skein of blue variegated threads with an embroidery needle,
- some blue fabric (back of the project),
- thin cord in linen (made in France)
