La Vie en Rose - Kit
Everything is included in this kit to make a lovely frame or card (Mother's Day, Valentine...).
"La Vie en Rose" (Life in Pink) is a complete kit by SoCreaStitch to make a lovely card or frame. It exists in 16 count linen Aida or in 32 count linen.
It includes the counted cross-stitch design "La Vie en Rose" by Les Créations de Chrystelle. Exists also as a chart here.

What we like about this project:
* the mounting which is a 2 in 1: you will be able to use your project either as a quite large card (for Mother's Day, Valentine's day, congratulations for a wedding... you can write on the back) or else as a lovely frame to be placed on a shelf or a desk,
* the pattern, with its pink camaieu, is really pleasant to stitch with only 4 colours,
* the elegant dotted fabric which is just the same pink shade as the pattern,
* it is great fun to make and it gives you the abc of the cartonnage technique which is really useful in many kinds of home decoration,
* last but not least, even if the mounting uses double-side tape and glue, they are not applied on the stitching: you will be able to use again your stitched work afterwards.
The design uses mostly cross-stitches and also some back stitches and smyrna cross-stitches. There are very clear drawings on the chart. Please note the back of the finished card is only half the width of the card itself.

- off-white16 count linen Aida OR 32 count linen (specify your fabric during the check-out process)
- pre-sorted DMC threads and embroidery needle,
- pink dotted fabric,
- strong paper (front and back of the project),
- heart patterns to embellish your work with the fabric leftovers,
- detailed stitching and finishing instructions in English with pictures.
All you will need to add is some double side tape and white glue.
