"Snowflake Borders II " is a cross-stitch chart with instructions translated in English. It includes 4 patterns of borders and a complete alphabet.
What we like about this design: ideal to mark a small item (pouch or else), these elegant borders and complete alphabet can also be used in rows or columns (for instance on a band) to form a word; obviously you can also re-use the borders' design in a larger project (you just have to repeat the patterns between two corners till you reach the needed size).
Design stitch count:
each square: 51 wide x 51 high
Design area:
- 10,2 x 10,2 cm (4 x 4 in) on a 25 count fabric
- 9,3 x 9,3 cm (3⅝ x 3⅝ in) on a 28 count fabric or on a 14 count Aida
- 8,5 x 8,5 cm (3⅜ x 3⅜ in) on a 32 count fabric
- 8,1 x 8,1 cm (3⅛ x 3⅛ in) on a 16 count Aida
Threads and colours
This pattern shows 2 colours (DMC references on the chart). You can also choose your favourite ones.
The design is stitched using two strands of cotton over two threads of fabric.
