"My Tea Cup"  is a cross-stitch chart with instructions translated in English. It comprises 5 patterns + finishing instructions.

Design stitch count:

Pattern 1 (house + lady): 82 wide x 51 high
Pattern 2 (lady + teapot): 46 wide x 49 high
Pattern 3 (abc + teapot): 44 wide x 43 high
Pattern 4 (lady alone) : 25 wide x 45 high
Pattern 5 (cake stands) : 87 wide x 76 high

Pattern 1 (house + lady):

• 10,2 x 6,4 cm (4 x 2½ in) on a 40 count linen
  13,7 x 8,5 cm (5⅜ x 3⅜ in) on a 32 count linen
• 13 x 8,1 cm (5⅛ x 3¼ in) on a 16 count Aïda
• 14,9 x 9,3 cm (5⅞ x 3⅝ in) on a 28 count linen or a 14 count Aida

Pattern 2 (lady+ teapot):

• 5,7 x 6,1 cm (2¼ x 2⅜ in) on a 40 count linen
• 7,7 x 8,2 cm (3 x 3¼ in) on a 32 count linen
• 7,3 x 7,8 cm (2⅞ x 3 in) on a 16 count Aïda

Pattern 3 (abc + teapot):

Pattern 5 (cake stands):

• 10,9 x 9,5 cm (4¼ x 3¾ in) on a 40 count linen
• 15,5 x 12,7 cm (5¾ x 5 in) on a 32 count linen
• 13,8 x 12,1 cm (5½ x 4¾ in) on a 16 count Aïda
• 15,8 x 13,8 cm (6¼ x 5½ in) on a 28 count linen or a 14 count Aida

Special stitches: This is a cross-stitch design with some daisy stitches, spider web stitches, eyelet stitches, French knots, feather stitches and tambour stitches. There are clear diagrams and instructions on the chart and you can choose to replace these stitches by regular cross-stitches but the result won't be the same.

Threads and colours

This pattern shows 4 colours:

• 2 references of DMC stranded cotton
• 1 reference of Crescent Colours silk thread (counterpart in DMC available on the chart)
• 1 reference of Atalie cotton thread (counterpart in DMC available on the chart)

ATALIe threads are shaded hand-dyed cotton (or silk) threads by French designer ATALIe; their subtle shading gives a special outcome to your stitching. We have prepared a specific mini-pack of ATALIe threads to match this pattern. See below the "related products" section to get more details.

The model on the picture has been stitched on a 40 count linen fabric (colour "faded blue") using one strand of cotton over two threads of fabric except for the pattern 5 which was stitched as a miniature (one strand of cotton over only one thread of fabric).
