"Needlework" is a cross-stitch chart with instructions translated in English.
Design stitch count: 89 wide x 44 high
Design area:
- 17,8 x 8,8 cm (7 x 3½ in) on a 25 count fabric
- 16,2 x 8 cm (6⅜ x 3⅛ in) on a 28 count fabric or on a 14 count Aida
- 14,8 x 7,3 cm (5⅞ x 2⅞ in) on a 32 count fabric
- 14,1 x 7 cm (5½ x 2¾ in) on a 16 count Aida
Special stitches: This is a cross-stitch design with some straight stiches and back stitches.
Threads and colours
This pattern shows 6 colours (DMC stranded cotton numbers on the chart).
The model on the picture has been stitched on a 36 count linen (ref colour Zweigart 52) using only one strand of cotton over two threads of fabric for a faded effect. But you can work this design on the fabric of your choice using two strands of cotton over two threads of fabric / one block of Aida.
Recommended Fabric: of your choice regarding the stitch count and the type (linen / evenweave or Aida if you slightly adapt he pattern), colour "off-white", 35x30 cm (14x12 in)
