"Blue Bird"  is a cross-stitch chart with instructions translated in English. It comprises 2 patterns.

  • 27,8 x 22,7 cm (11 x 9 in) on a 28 count linen or a 14 count Aida
Special stitches: This is a cross-stitch design with very few back stitches, some satin stitches (that you can replace by straight stitches) and some spider web stitches (instructions on the chart but if you prefer, you can replace them by regular cross-stitches).

Threads and colours

The model on the picture has been stitched on a 40 count linen fabric (colour "off-white") using one strand of cotton over two threads of fabric for the main design and one strand of cotton over one thread of fabric for the small design (in order to mount it as a pinkeep).

Recommended Fabric: linen or evenweave fabric, stitch count of your choice, colour "off-white" or "ecru", 45x40 cm (18 x 16 in).
