Design area:
- 5,9 x 13,2 cm (2⅜ x 5⅛ in) on a 32 count fabric if worked as a miniature (one strand of cotton over one thread of fabric)
- 11,8 x 26,3 cm (4⅝ x 10⅜ in) on a 32 count linen
- 11,3 x 25,1 cm (4⅜ x 9⅞ in)on a 16 count Aida
- 12,9 x 28,7 cm (5 x 11¼ in) on a 28 count linen or a 14 count Aida
Special stitches: This is a pure cross-stitch design with very few back stitches (birds' legs).
Threads and colours
This pattern shows 10 colours:
- 2 references of DMC stranded cotton
- 8 references of Gentle Art or ATALIe threads (counterpart in DMC references available on the chart)
The model on the picture has been stitched on a 32 count Zweigart linen fabric (colour Summer Kaki) using one strand of cotton over one thread of fabric.
Recommended Fabric: 32 count Zweigart Summer Kaki, dimensions 25x35 cm (10 x 14 in) if worked as a miniature or 30x 45 cm (12x18 in) if worked with two strands of cotton over two threads of fabric. Or the fabric of your choice, colour "Sand" or "off white".
