"Tricotine" is a counted cross-stitch chart with instructions translated in English.

Design stitch count: 111 wide x 82 high

Design area:

• 13,9 x 10,3 cm (5½ x 4 in) on a 40 count fabric
• 15,9 x 11,7 cm (6¼ x 4⅝ in) on a 36 count fabric
• 18,5 x 13,7 cm (7¼ x 5⅜ in) on a 32 count fabric
• 17,6 x 13 cm (7 x 5⅛ in) on a 16 count Aida
• 20,2 x 14,9 cm (8 x 5⅞ in) on a 28 count fabric or on 14 count Aida

Special stitches: this is a pure cross-stitch design with a few back stitches.

Threads and colours

This pattern shows 14 colours:

• 6 references of DMC stranded cotton
• 8 colours with both Gentle Arts and Atalie threads references (counterpart in DMC references available on the chart)

The model on the picture has been stitched on a 40 count linen fabric (colour off-white) using one strand of cotton over two threads of fabric. But you can stitch it on a lower count fabric using two strands of cotton over two threads of fabric.

Recommended fabric: of your choice regarding the type (linen, aida or evenweave) and the stitch count, colour "white" or "off-white", 40x35 cm (16 x 14 in).
