"Ordinary Day" is a cross-stitch chart with instructions translated in English (including finishing instructions).

Design stitch count: 140 wide x 91 high

Design area:

• 23,3 x 15,2 cm (9,2 x 6 in) on a 32 count Linen
• 22,2 x 14,5 cm (8,7 x 5,7 in) on a 16 count Aïda
• 25,5 x 16,5 cm (10 x 6,5 in) on a 28 count linen or a 14 count Aida

Special stitches: This is a pure cross-stitch design with a few back stitches. 2 patterns are stitched on an extra piece of fabric and then added to the global design as little tags. You may also make a black crochet flower and add a white mother-of-pearl button.

Threads and colours

This pattern shows 8 colours:

• 4 references of DMC stranded cotton
• 4 references of The Gentle Art threads (counterpart in DMC references available on the chart)

The model on the picture has been stitched on a 32 count linen fabric (Zweigart Belfast ref colour "Light Sand") using one strand of cotton over one thread of fabric. But you can stitch it with two strands of cotton on the fabric of your choice (aida, evenweave or linen).

Recommended Fabric: 32 or 28 count linen or evenweave fabric colour "Light Sand" or 16 or 14 count Aida, 40x35 cm (16x14 in).
