"A Trick in my Bag"  is a cross-stitch chart with instructions translated in English.
This pattern exists in two versions: "only the pattern" or the "pattern + finishing instructions" to mount you work as a mirror case.

Design stitch count: 90 wide x 119 high

Design area:

• 5,6 x 7,4 cm (2¼ x 3 in) on a 40 count linen, if stitched as a miniature
• 15 x 19,8 cm (5⅞ x 7⅞ in) on a 32 count linen
• 14,3 x 18,9 cm (5⅝ x 7½ in) on a 16 count Aïda
• 16,4 x 21,6 cm (6½ x 8½ in) on a 28 count linen or a 14 count Aida

Special stitches: This is a cross-stitch design with some Smyrna cross-stitches (the witch's handbag). These are optional: you can replace same with regular cross-stitches, especially if you'd like to stitch this design on Aida.

Threads and colours

This pattern shows 4 colours:

• 2 references of DMC stranded cotton
• 2 references of the Gentle Art threads (counterpart in DMC references available on the chart)

The model on the picture has been stitched on a 40 count linen fabric as a miniature using one strand of cotton over one thread of fabric. But you can stitch it on the fabric of your choice using two strands of cotton over two threads of fabric.

Recommended Fabric: of your choice regarding the type (linen, evenweave, Aida) and the stitch count (colour "off-white" or "sand"), 35x40 cm (14 x 16 in).
