"Patchwork Alphabet" is a counted cross-stitch chart with instructions translated in English.
The charts includes all the letters from A to Z. 

What we like about this design:

• two colour schemes are proposed by the designer: either red/purple shades or blue/green shades;
• each letter can be used as a monogram to make a small gift (for instance a bookmark, a small pouch or a little frame);
• the relatively small size of the letters allows you to compose a word (for instance a name) or to work two initials together or even the whole alphabet.

Design stitch count:

Each letter is 45 counts high (the width varies depending on the letter).

Letters'  height:

• 9 cm (3½  ins) on a 25 count fabric
• 8,2 cm (3¼ ins) on a 28 count fabric or on a 14 count Aida
• 7,5 cm (3 ins) on a 32 count fabric
• 7,1 cm (2¾  ins) on a 16 count Aida

Threads and colours

This pattern shows 7 colours (DMC numbers on the chart) that you can work either in the red/purple shades or in the blue/green shades (two keys are provided).

The design is stitched using two strands of cotton over two threads of fabric (or one block of aida).

Recommended Fabric: of your choice regarding the type (linen / evenweave / Aida), the stitch count, colour "Natural Linen".
