"Morning"  is a cross-stitch chart with instructions translated in English. It comprises 4 patterns and finishing instructions.

Special stitches: This is a cross-stitch design with some Rhodes stitches, some spider web stitches and a few French knots (clear instructions on the chart but if you prefer, you can replace all of them by regular cross-stitches).

Threads and colours

This pattern shows 8 colours:

• 4 references of DMC stranded cotton
• 4 references of Atalie threads (counterpart in DMC available on the chart)

ATALIe threads are shaded hand-dyed cotton (or silk) threads by French designer ATALIe; their subtle shading gives a special outcome to your stitching. We have prepared a specific mini-pack of ATALIe threads to match this pattern. See below the "related products" section to get more details.

The model on the picture has been stitched on a 32 count linen fabric (colour "light pink" and "light sand") using two strands of cotton over two threads of fabric for patterns 1 & 2 and as a miniature (one strand of cotton over one thread of fabric) for patterns 3 & 4.

Recommended Fabric: linen or evenweave fabric, stitch count of your choice, colour "off-white" or "ecru".
