"The Letters of my Garden"  is a cross-stitch chart with instructions translated in English. It comes as 2 charts: one for the blue version and one for the pink version.

Design stitch count: 107 wide x 102 high

Design area:

  • 13,4 x 12,7 cm (5,3 x 5 in) on a 40 count linen or 20 count Aida
  • 15,3 x 14,6 cm (6 x 5,7 in) on a 36 count linen or 16 count Aida
  • 17,8 x 17 cm (7 x 6,7 in) on a 32 count linen
  • 17 x 16,2 cm (6,7 x 6,4 in) on a 16 count Aida
  • 19,5 x 18,6 cm (7,7 x 7,3 in) on a 28 count linen or a 14 count Aida
Special stitches: This is a pure cross-stitch design with very  few back stitches.

Threads and colours

Blue version: The pattern shows 6 colours:

  • 1 reference of DMC stranded cotton
  • 5 references of The Gentle Art threads (counterpart in DMC references available on the chart)

Pink version: the pattern shows 4 colours (DMC references on the key)

The models on the picture have been stitched on a 46 count linen fabric (Pink version) and on a 40 count linen fabric (Blue version), colour "off-white", using one strand of cotton over two threads of fabric.

Recommended Fabric: of your choice regarding the type (linen / evenweave / Aida) and the stitch count (colour "off-white"), 40x40 cm (16x16 in).
