"Birds Alphabet" is a coloured cross-stitch chart (very easy to follow) with instructions translated in English. It exists in 2 versions: one to be stitched on a clear fabric and one to be stitched on a darker fabric.

Design stitch count: 149 wide x 225 high

Design area:

• 24,8 x 37,5 cm (9,8 x 14,8 in) on a 32 count linen
• 23,7 x 35,7 cm (9,3 x 14,1 in) on a 16 count Aida
• 27,1 x 40,9 cm (10,7 x 16,1 in) on a 28 count linen or a 14 count Aida

Special stitches: None, this is a pure cross-stitch design.

Threads and colours

This pattern shows 7 colours (DMC references on the chart).

The model on the picture has been stitched on a 32 count linen fabric (colour "Natural") using two strands of cotton over two threads of fabric.

Recommended Fabric:  32 count linen fabric or 16 count Aida (colour "Natural linen"), dimensions 45x55cm (18x22 in).
