"Bouquet of Violets Bag" is a coloured cross-stitch chart (very easy to follow) with instructions translated in English.
It includes finishing instructions if you want to mount the design on a little bag as the designer did. Both fabrics (stitching and mounting) used by the designer are available in the "related products" section below.
Design stitch count: 51 wide x 92 high
Design area:
- 4,3 x 7,5 cm (1¾ x 3 in) on a 32 count linen if stitched as a miniature
- 8,5 x 15,3 cm (3¼ x 6 in) on a 32 count linen
- 8,1 x 14,6 cm (3¼ x 5¾ in) on a 16 count Aida
- 9,3 x 16,7 cm (3¾ x 6½ in) on a 28 count linen or a 14 count Aida
Special stitches: None, this is a pure cross-stitch design.
Threads and colours
This pattern shows 12 colours (DMC numbers on the chart).
The model on the picture has been stitched on a 32 count linen fabric (colour "Warm Sand") as a miniature using only one strand of cotton over one thread of fabric. But this pattern can be stitched in full size (using two strands of cotton over two threads of fabric / one block of Aida).Recommended Fabric: of your choice regarding the type (linen / evenweave / Aida) and the stitch count (colour "sand", "Ecru" or "off-white"), dimensions 30x35 cm (12x14 in).
