"Little House n°1" is a cross-stitch chart with finishing instructions translated in English.
It is the first design of a new series by Malin Maline inspired by the success of the initial design "Les Petites Maisons" (see below the related products' section).

Design stitch count: 105 wide x 104 high

Design area:

  • 19,1x 18,9 cm (7½ x 7½ in) on a 28 count linen or 14 count Aida
  • 17,5 x 17,3 cm (7 x 6¾ in) on a 32 count linen
  • 16,7 x 16,5 cm (6½ x 6½ in) on a 16 count Aida
  • 10,5 x 10,5 cm (4 x 4 in) on a 25 count linen if stitched as a miniature
Special stitches: This is a pure cross-stitch design with very few back stitches.

Threads and colours

This pattern shows 8 colours:

  • 3 references of DMC stranded cotton
  • 5 references of The Gentle Art threads (with counterpart in DMC numbers on the chart)
The model on the picture has been stitched on a 25 count Floba fabric (colour "light natural linen") as a miniature using one strand of cotton over one thread of fabric. But you can stitch it with 2 strands of cotton over 2 threads of fabric (or 1 block of aida).

Recommended Fabric: of your choice regarding the type (linen, evenweave, Aida), the stitch count and the colour, 40x40 cm (16x16 in).
