"Welcome"  is a cross-stitch chart with instructions translated in English.

Design stitch count: 159 wide x 83 high

Design area:

• 22,7 x 11,9 cm (9 x 4⅝ in) on a 36 count linen
• 26,5 x 13,8 cm (10⅜ x 5½ in) on a 32 count linen
• 25,2 x 13,2 cm (10 x 5⅛ in) on a 16 count Aïda
• 28,9 x 15,1 cm (11⅜ x 6 in) on a 28 count linen or a 14 count Aida

Threads and colours

This pattern shows 7 colours:

• 5 references of  DMC stranded cotton
• 2 references of ATALIe variegated threads (counterpart in DMC references available on the chart)

ATALIe threads are shaded hand-dyed cotton (or silk) threads by French designer ATALIe; their subtle shading gives a special outcome to your stitching. See below the "related products" section to buy the right mini-pack of ATALIe threads.

The model on the picture has been stitched on a 36 count linen fabric (colour "white") using both one strand of cotton over one thread of fabric and one strand of cotton over two threads of fabric.

Please note that this design should be worked on linen or evenweave fabric because of the embroidery stitches and because it mixes one pattern stitched with one strand of cotton over one thread of fabric with other patterns stitched with two strands of cotton over two threads of fabric.

Recommended Fabric: a piece of linen or evenweave fabric, of your choice regarding the stitch count (colour "White"), 45x35 cm (18 x 14 in).
