"ABC Autumn"  is a cross-stitch chart with instructions translated in English. It is a two part design and it is suggested to mount it as a pinkeep (no finishing instruction though).

Design stitch count: 91 wide x 84 high each design

Design area:

  • 7,6 x 7 cm (3 x 2¾ in) on a 32 count linen if stitched as a miniature
  • 15,2 x 14 cm (6 x 5½ in) on a 32 count linen
  • 14,5 x 13,3 cm (5¾ x 5¼ in) on a 16 count Aïda
  • 16,6 x 15,3 cm (6½ x 6 in) on a 28 count linen or a 14 count Aida
Special stitches: This is a pure cross-stitch design with very few back stitches and four French knots (optional).

Threads and colours

This pattern shows 7 colours:

  • 2 references of ATALIe variegated threads (counterpart in DMC references available on the chart)
  • 5 references of  DMC stranded cotton

ATALIe threads are shaded hand-dyed cotton (or silk) threads by French designer ATALIe; their subtle shading gives a special outcome to your stitching.  See below the "related products" section to buy the right mini-pack of ATALIe threads.

The model on the picture has been stitched on a 32 count linen fabric (colour "Tea") as a miniature (using one strand of cotton over one thread of fabric) in order to be mount as a pinkeep. But you can stitch it in full size (two strands of cotton over two threads of fabric / one block of Aida).

Recommended Fabric: of your choice regarding the type (linen / evenweave / Aida) and the stitch count (colour "tea" or "sand"), 35x35 cm (14 x 14 in).
